We have an easy to understand refund policy.

If you don't like our work, you don't need to pay until we get it right.

A clipping path needs to be right, there is no grey area. It either works or it doesn't. That's why we make sure your clipping paths are correct the first time. If you unhappy with our service, we're happy to give your money back.

We pride ourselves on our service and believe in clear and open communication. Try us, outsource to us, and we'll give you
the service you need.

When can we start?

We can start as quickly as you want once we have discussed the full requirements of your project. Each publisher we work with generally has their own individual way of working.

Before beginning work with each client we need to know a number of things.

How will you deliver your files?

Will you upload them to our server or upload to your own FTP server?

What file types will you be sending?

What timeframe do you require your images to be completed?

How many images are you expecting to send per day/week/month?

Who will be the main point of contact in your company?

This is just a few of the questions that we will require. Once we have completed this process a project manager is assigned to you and they will be your contact at Celladore Creative for the term of the project.

Why should we outsource?

Why should you outsource your clipping path work?

Outsourcing with us, to put it is simply, is working smarter not harder.

When you outsource your tedious, repetive tasks, time consuming processes you can make your business more efficient and much more effective.

Consider the time you designers and production staff spend applying
clipping paths to their images during the design process.

How many images can they do per hour?

How much are they paid per hour?

When you have the answers to the questions above, then you can
easily figure the costs yourself.

Ask yourself, how much is each cutout image costing your company?

Contact us here and find out how much you can save in both time and money by using our service.

How do you do your clipping paths?

We use Photoshop to create all our clipping paths.

We only use the 'pen tool' in Photoshop.

Some services that you find on the internet use the 'magic wand' tool.
The 'magic wand' tool can create clipping paths quite quickly, however the quality of the clippings created is a very standard. All our clipping paths are done by hand.

If you do a quick seach on the internet for 'Clipping paths tutorials'
you will see that all the tutorials you find will teach you to create clipping paths using the pen tool. You will rarely see the use of the magic wand tool in any of these tutorials.

We recommend that you do not use any other service unless they use
the pen tool exclusively.

How do you quote for your service?

Due to the nature of this type of work, we need to split up our clipping paths
into two distinct categories. Complex cutouts and standard cutouts.

Prices are charged according to the amount of cutouts required per month,
and the complexity of the cutout.

Some publishers require over 1500 cutouts per month, and these type of publishers often get bulk discounts.

Contact us via our webform and we can give you a quote ASAP.

What files can you accept?

We accept Apple Macintosh and PC files. We accept TIFF, EPS & JPEG files.

We recommend when uploading to our servers that you supply in either JPEG of EPS format to decrease the upload/download times. However if it is neccessary TIFF files are no major problem.

If you would like to check on a particular file format, please contact
us via our webform.

How are files delivered to you and returned to us?

We operate solely over the internet and can only accept files
over our FTP server. Alternatively we can download files from your FTP if you prefer.

If you need to upload to our server(which most people do) then you will receive your own individual and secure account which you can use whenever you need to deliver files to us. You will use this same FTP account to download your completed files the next day or agreed time period.

What is a clipping path?

Clipping paths are also known as cutous, stickouts, knockouts or masking.

In computer graphics, a clipping path is a closed vector path, or shape, used to cut out an image in current image manipulation software. Anything inside the path will be included after the clipping path is applied; anything outside the path will be omitted from the output. Applying the clipping path results in a hard edge.

As an analogy, think of a cookie cutter. The shape of the cookie cutter describes the clipping path. The dough is analogous to the image the path is applied to. After the cutter is pressed in, everything outside of it is removed. The remaining image (or cookie in the analogy) has a clearly defined edge.
